The symbolism of the Shri Yantra lies in its unique shape. There are a number of concentric levels and equilateral triangles, within which is contained the macrocosm as expounded in the advaita school of philosophy. The Shri Yantra is a shape that is indispensable to the worship of Devi Tripurasundari. Simply put, it is a three-dimensional diagram of mystic significance. As could be seen in the yantra photographed on this page, it is an arrangement of interlocking triangles.
